Cloaking Theory

Oo, there's a couple theories out there that could prove workable for cloaking objects, i.e., hiding them from view.  One theory posits using "metamaterials" that would allow light or other electromagnetic radiation to flow around the object making it invisible.  There was also another story recently about using a superlens to cancel out light somehow.   This is the stuff of Star Trek or Harry Potter :).
